About Us

 We are balanced trainers, meaning we take the time to work through a dog’s needs using both positive and negative reinforcement. No two dogs or handlers are alike, so every program is fully tailored to the specific dog’s personality and the owner’s goals. We don’t just train the dog, we train the owner too, ensuring skills last for a lifetime, not just for the duration of the program.

 Nose For Success was born from personal experience. Many years ago, I needed a service dog myself but couldn’t afford professional help. My puppy at the time was a pitsky named Bongo, sweet but wildly untrained. Many doubted she could ever become a service dog. Through determination, research, and countless hours of hands-on work, Willow transformed. She guided me through public high school and trade school, proving every skeptic wrong. 

That journey lit a fire in me. I went on to work as an assistant to a service dog trainer and later with a police department K9. Those experiences solidified my passion: helping others experience the same transformation and independence I had found.
